Need To Know This Week

It’s BAP time!

This Saturday is BAP, our monthly opportunity for archers of all abilities to learn the steps in World Archery’s Beginner Award Programme. Come along for coaching and a chance to practice with others as you work towards your White, Black, Blue, Red or Gold Arrow.  Please arrive by 10:30am. Later arrivals may not be able to join in the programme.

Barebow Essentials this Saturday

If you’re new to barebow and want to learn about draw, aim and other basic techniques, you don’t want to miss this! Register on Archery OSA – start time 12.30, Saturday 6 July.

Shooting on a Tuesday

Did you know we have a reciprocal agreement with Auckland Archery Club (AAC)? That means we can shoot at their range on a Tuesday when ours is closed, and they can use our range on a Thursday when theirs is closed, with no visitor fee payable. AAC uses a Facebook page to communicate when their range is open, and you can apply to join it here. We have invited AAC members to join the MGAC messenger group so please make sure you post in the group if you are a keyholder opening our range on a Thursday.

AGM: is the date in your diary?
