Saturday 28 Oct: Club Prizegiving and Fun Shoot from 11am. Awards will be handed out for all the Club Champ events that were held this year, along with the overall awards. Theme for the fun shoot is something spooky. Watch for next week’s club newsletter with all the details.
Sunday 29th Oct: Regular shooting lines are back on again. Youth arrive by 8.45am for a 9am shooting start. MAGS arrive by 10.45am for an 11am shooting start.
Tournaments.
Mountain Green are running a set of tournaments on Wednesday nights. They are called Evening on the Maunga and have to fit within a strict timetable on those nights.
If you have never tried a tournament, think you could get 72 arrows onto a scoring ring (any one will do) and would like to give a tournament a go, have all look at one of the three RMT tournaments on 15th Nov (#1), 29th Nov (#3), and 13th Dec (#5). You need to register for the tournament on ArcheryOSA. (If you have never done this before, you need to sign up to ArcheryOSA before you can enter.) If you click on the tournament’s name, you will be taken to the page with the informaton for the tournament and the Enter Now button. You are considered entered once you have registered and payment has been received.
If you have done tournaments before, then the other three Evenings are for you. They are designated Major tournaments (single 720) and wil be held on Nov 22nd (#2), Dec 6th (#4), and Dec 20th (#6). Comes with Judges, uniforms, all that jazz.
