Need To Know This Week
Snap, it’s BAP this Saturday!
This Saturday is BAP, our monthly opportunity for archers of all abilities to learn the steps in World Archery’s Beginner Award Programme. Come along for coaching and a chance to practice with others as you work towards your White, Black, Blue, Red or Gold Arrow. Please arrive by 10:30am. Later arrivals may not be able to join in the programme.
New safety signs are coming
After years of loyal service, we’re retiring our battered old signs and have taken the opportunity revise our sign design and locations. We will have two permanent signs in the gaps in the fenceline, and moveable signs near the carpark, along the ropeline, near the clubhouse and by the bench at the top of the path.
We will communicate directly with keyholders about the new signs once they’ve all arrived from the printer, and we’ll update the sign about signs in the clubhouse. We’re hoping to roll them out this weekend.

If you’re getting itchy that there’s not much on over winter, why not organise a tournament? We have excellent how-to guides on how to run a tournament and it’s easier than you think. Chat to anyone on the committee, or email me to find out more.
Remember to keep an eye on Archery OSA for Archery NZ target tournaments, and NZFAA (NZ Field Archery Association) for Field events.
