Need To Know This Week

Congratulations MGAC college archers!
The six weeks of College Sport Archery has now finished with Mountain Green archers from several schools taking podium placings across all divisions (there’s too many to name them all in this newsletter!). With 231 archers across all bow types in two locations (Auckland Archery Club and Mountain Green), competition was fierce.

Congratulations to all MGAC archers who represented their schools so well, and best of luck for the matchplay competition at Auckland Club on 7 April. Huge thanks also to the MGAC coaches, helpers, and parents for all their support at both venues.

National Target Champs this weekend
Good luck to the many MGAC members competing at the Archery New Zealand National Target Champs over Easter weekend in Hamilton. Whether you’re attending as an athlete or a supporter, or staying home but wanting to follow progress, the target draw and results will be available at this website. Straight shooting everyone!

Target Face Housekeeping
Please remember to put target faces away in the right place –  at the outdoor range, 122cm faces go on the table, and all others on the correct shelves by the wall. Also, if your target face is wet, please lay it out flat so it can dry straight (let’s be honest, no one wants a wrinkly face!). At the indoor range, target faces go into the drawers.

At The Club This Week

Saturday 30 March
1pm Club Shoot brought to you by keyholder Andrew Fong
