Congratulations MGAC!

It was the Archery NZ 80th National Clout & Target Champs in Hamilton over Easter weekend, and Mountain Green archers did us proud with podium placings across most divisions and classes. The stunning weather for four of the five days at the beautiful Resthills Park in Hamilton created near perfect conditions for the 150 or so archers competing. MGAC Life Member Mike Smerdon (pictured) shot one of the opening arrows. 

At the banquet dinner MGAC was awarded the Ryan Shield, which was the result of the monthly interclub postal challenge for recurve archers. Well done to all those who contributed!

It’s BAP this Saturday

This Saturday is BAP, our monthly opportunity for archers of all abilities to learn the steps in World Archery’s Beginner Award Programme. Come along for coaching and a chance to practice with others as you work towards your White, Black, Blue, Red or Gold Arrow.  Please arrive by 10:30am. Later arrivals may not be able to join in the programme.
