Need To Know This Week

Indoor range working bee!

Our new indoor wall is on the ship now, and we expect it to be ready for installation from 30 August (to be confirmed). We will need LOTS OF HELPERS to demolish the current wall, pick up the new blocks from Hobsonville, and set up the new wall. Although we will need helpers who are confident on the tools, we’ll also need plenty of others to help with transport, and general labouring. It’ll be all hands on deck! Let us know how you can help by filling in this very short Google form.

Shooting the Tertiary League? Read this!

The scores for the Tertiary League Term 3 must be shot no later than Sunday 8th September. This may not be the same date as when your institute has their mid-semester break.  Since none of the institutes are lining up nicely this time,  we have had to set a nominal date. There are now pinscores that can earn you points towards your institute’s total. The full schedule has been posted up on the club noticeboard.

Club Shirts – Last day for free shipping is Friday 16 August!

Our new MGAC club shirts are available now for purchase with options to suit all members whether you’re a competition archer, a casual shooter, or a dedicated supporter. Each option is available in mens’, womens’ and kids’ cuts. There’s a polo shirt and round neck shooting shirt in left- and right-handed options (and with an optional extra 5cm in length), as well as a cost-effective t-shirt. You can get your name printed on all options.

To view the full range and place your order, go to https://www.kapinua.com/en/167-mountain-green-archery-club

Order before 16 August, to save on shipping costs by selecting ‘pick up in store’ – orders will be shipped to the club. Any orders placed after this date can be shipped anywhere you choose, at your cost. Any questions, please reply to this email.  A huge thank you to Fleur Maggs for all her hard work in bringing our new shirts to life.
