Need To Know This Week

Indoor Range

Our new indoor range wall is on its way and is expected to arrive in the country in late August. Once it’s here we’ll run a working bee to remove the old wall and install the new one – please keep an eye out for an email asking for helpers. As always, many hands make light work.
A few other indoor range reminders:

  • when the sun has been on the door, it can expand the lock housing which can make the door very hard to open. If you have this problem, please press hard on the door (lean on it) to loosen the lock so the door will open.
  • please take any rubbish home with you, including shot-out target faces. There is no rubbish collection at the range.
  • if the target face you want isn’t available, please email secretary@mgac.org.nz so we can order more.
  • the indoor range Facebook chat group is a great way to find friends to shoot with, or ask questions. Join it here
  • if you have any issues at the indoor range, please advise any member of the committee, or email secretary@mgac.org.nz (or if it’s urgent, refer to the “See something, do something” poster for who to call).

Ordered Our New Club Shirt Yet?

We are very excited to announce our new MGAC club shirts are available now for purchase! We have options to suit all members whether you’re a competition archer, a casual shooter, or a dedicated supporter, with each option available in mens’, womens’ and kids’ cuts. There’s a polo shirt and round neck shooting shirt in left- and right-handed options (and with an optional extra 5cm in length) , as well as a cost-effective t-shirt. You can get your name printed on all options.

Any orders placed after this date can be shipped anywhere you choose, at your cost.
