Need To Know This Week

Clout Club Champs a wash out
Some pretty atrocious weather foiled our attempts to run the Clout Club Champs last Sunday, which led to the team on the ground calling it off. We will reschedule this for later in the season – watch this space for the new date.

Missing club bows
There are three club bows missing from our equipment cupboard. These bows are used for our beginner courses and we’re really missing them! If you have borrowed a club bow, please return it, no questions asked.

Lost property
This is your last weekend to check the lost property in the clubroom before it is removed and donated to charity. There’s clothes, bow stands, stringers, and a tonne of arrows – please help these items to find a home!

New Tertiary League

Archery NZ and University & Tertiary Sports NZ are trialling a tertiary archery league, for university and other tertiary students.  There is one round per term, which can be shot as many times as you like, but only one score can be submitted per archer. There’s Novice, Development or Open categories. See the Archery NZ website or the UTSNZ website for all rules and schedules. Check out the schedule on the club noticeboard, and pick up a scoresheet in the specially marked drawer in the clubroom (return your completed scoresheet here too).

Term One closes off on 14 April. If you want to shoot this as part of a group, join the organised shoot on Sunday 24 March at 1pm. Huge thanks to Jan Lees for leading the development of this league.
