Join in the Hutton Memorial Shoot on Waitangi Day – Te Rā o Waitangi

Every year on Waitangi Day, clubs around NZ shoot the Hutton Memorial Tournament to commemorate Royle and Alison Hutton, the founders of Youth Archery in New Zealand. It’s open to all archers of all ages.

Our shoot starts at 1pm at MGAC outdoor range – arrive by 12.30 so you’re ready to shoot at 1pm. No need to register in advance, just come along on the day and bring your $5 fee per archer which we will forward to Archery NZ.

Archers will shoot 5 x 6 arrow ends at each distance of 55m, 46m & 37m; except Junior B (under 16) who will shoot 37m, 28m and 18m. Novice and Development archers will shoot 37m, 28m and 18m.

You can win medals and earn pins for this shoot AND the badger will be in attendance! Please email Emma clubcaptain@mgac.org.nz with any questions, or check out our Facebook post with more detail.
