WA Field Archery Workshop

Would you like to know a little more about World Archery Field? Fleur Maggs is running a workshop on Sunday 9th March, from 2.00pm, open to all bow types. Please register here.

The workshop will cover: target types, some rules, and for those who use sights: guaging for unmarked and sight tapes.

If you would like to make a sight tape, please fill out this “Archers Advantage PDF” about your gear and bring it with you on the day.  We will collect the rest of the information on the day to make the sight tape at a later date.

World Archery Judge Logan Andrew will be there to answer all your questions too.

For more information please email Fleur at: fleur@mgac.org.nz

College Sport on Wednesdays

We’re now into the swing of College Sport at MGAC on Wednesdays. We are hosting the barbow division of this Auckland-wide schools competition, which means on a Wednesday afternoon, up to 7 lanes will be in use betwen 3.30pm and 6.30pm. There will be some space for casual shooting alongside.

Note the carpark is likely to be very busy, so make sure you factor in a possible walk up the hill.

The College Sport tournament finishes on 26 March.
