Need To Know This Week

No casual shooting this Saturday

We are hosting a tournament this Saturday from 9am til approximately 3.30pm which will use all lanes. There will be no casual shooting on Saturday. The range can open on Sunday (there are no youth, MAGS or young adult lines due to school holidays) so keep an eye on the Outdoor Range Messenger Group to see if/when any keyholders open the range.  Remember, our indoor range at Massey is open 24/7 to members – join the chat group here.

ADAA 600 Round this Sunday

The Auckland District Archery Association 600 Round is on this Sunday at 1pm at MGAC. The shoot is 90 arrows at 30 metres with all archers starting on a 122cm target face. Once you have shot 600 points or greater on that target face, at the next shoot you drop your target face size to 80cm, then 60cm, then 40cm…and for those who are very brave, then 20cm.  The 600 round is a great incentive to grow your skill and practice, and meet other members of other clubs. Nuala Edmundson will be hosting this for MGAC, so head along!
