- Kerry Hoole
- Isabella Matthews
- Ben McLean
- Hector McNeilly

MGAC coach Jan Lees was also selected to represent NZ and support the team in a coaching role at this event. Well done!
Rockin’ Robin Success!
The Rockin’ Robin was a great success this weekend, and would not have been possible without the hard work of many volunteers. Huge thanks to the judges, Clive Hudson, Sun Kim, and Angela Churchill-Azor, and DoS Pete McLean. Also a big thanks to the head of the LOC David Edmundson and his team for their vision and hard work.
We had a number of volunteers who helped out on the day – Alan, Tom, Kathryn, Steve, Kelly, Joe, Eva, Gabrielle, and more. Thanks to all of you and apologies if I have left anyone off this list!
Congratulations to all participants and especially to the medallists!
Oceania Challenge (Postal) 2026
The Oceania Challenge is an online tournament to engage Member Associations from around the Pacific in competitive shooting. It is open to all MGAC members and we strongly encourage you to give it a go! See the distances and the full guidelines document here.
This will occur during April and May – the club will announce some suitable dates when archers can choose to gather and shoot the Challenge! You can shoot it more than once, but only one result may be submitted.
College Sport continues this week…
A reminder that we are hosting the College Sport barebow archers on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-6:30pm. This takes up 8 lanes, so while there is plenty of space to shoot alongside, please be prepared to be flexible if necessary!
Our team are still in need of volunteers to help with set-up! Email treasurer@mgac.org.nz or show up at 3pm to lend a hand setting up gazebos and pulling out targets.
Upcoming: Tertiary League Term 1 due April 12th
All students enrolled at tertiary institutions can participate in Archery NZ’s tertiary league. This Sunday at 1pm the Waiporoporo Young Adults programme will be shooting the Term 1 round, and any other tertiary students (of any age!) are welcome to join them! Details of the round are found here.
