Need To Know This Week
New club shirts are here!
We are very excited to announce our new MGAC club shirts are available now for purchase! We have options to suit all members whether you’re a competition archer, a casual shooter, or a dedicated supporter, with each option available in mens’, womens’ and kids’ cuts. There’s a polo shirt and round neck shooting shirt in left- and right-handed options (and with an optional extra 5cm in length) , as well as a cost-effective t-shirt. You can get your name printed on all options.
To view the full range and place your order, go to https://www.kapinua.com/en/167-mountain-green-archery-club
If you order before 16 August, you can save on shipping costs by selecting ‘pick up in store’ – orders will be shipped to the club. Any orders placed after this date can be shipped anywhere you choose, at your cost.
A huge thank you to Fleur Maggs for all her hard work in bringing our new shirts to life.
Welcome new committee members
Congratulations and welcome to our new committee members Meike Voigt and Fleur Maggs, and to our new club captain Emma Ala’alatoa Dale. Thank you to retiring committee member Vincent McCartney for his service to the club over the past several years. You can see the full committee on this page of our website.
Following Archery NZ’s announcement it is increasing its fees for 2024/25 (see details in the Archery NZ newsletter), there was a lot of discussion at the AGM about affiliating with Archery NZ. This is such an important topic it was agreed we will hold a Special General Meeting to discuss it in more detail. Look out for details of this SGM coming soon. In the meantime, if you have a view on Archery NZ’s fee increase, you can contact them on administration@archerynz.co.nz.
It’s BAP this Saturday

Come along for coaching and a chance to practice with others as you work towards your White, Black, Blue, Red or Gold Arrow. Please arrive by 10:30am.
