Need to Know this Week

Achievement Round on Saturday

It’s Achievement Round this Saturday – an ideal opportunity for those who have completed their Gold Arrow in BAP, or are comfortable shooting at 40m or more. It’s 12 ends of 6 arrows each, starting at your closest comfortable distance. Once you’ve met the achievement score (see below), you can progress to the next distance the following month. Free ribbons to members who meet the score, and it’s also a great way to meet other members!

Distances shot:  40m, 50m, 60m, 70m, 80m, 90m
Target Face: Barebow/Longbow/Recurve 122cm | Compound 80cm
Achievement Scores: Barebow/Longbow 400 | Recurve 500 | Compound 600

Indoor Range – upcoming badminton tournament

Our landlords at the indoor range – Waitakere Badminton Centre – are hosting a very large tournament from 11 to 13 April. Parking will be at a premium.

If you can avoid the indoor range on these days that would be ideal, but if not, please be prepared to park around the corner/across the road and walk in.

Lost and found

The lost and found pile at the outdoor range is taking on a life of its own with items desperate to be returned to their owners (see picture above).

Next time you’re at the club, please take a look through the box and take home any items that should live at your house.
