Need To know This Week

Maunga closures for Guy Fawkes
The Tūpuna Maunga Authority is closing Ōwairaka from 7.30pm to 7am on Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 November.  This is to help protect the maunga during Guy Fawkes, after the devastating fires in 2019 and 2020 due to fireworks near the tihi (summit). No one will be allowed on the Maunga during these times and all entrances will be security patrolled.

Halloween Fun Shoot
Shooting at a moving zombie, at 3D monkeys and polar bears, through the tunnel of love, and at apples on top of Mr Pumpkinhead were just some of the amazing games at this year’s Halloween fun shoot.
Huge thanks to former Club Captain Meike Voigt, Vice President Andrew Fong and all their helpers for putting on this fantastic fun family friendly event.
Check out photos and video on our Facebook page here.
