MGAC at the Australian National Target and Para Champs – Hobart, Tasmania

This week Archery Australia’s National Target Champs are taking place in Hobart, Tasmania. The tournament features 1440, 900, 720 ranking rounds, and match play. There are a few Kiwis in the line up who journeyed to Tassie to compete, including our very own MGAC member Kerry Hoole!

We wish good fortune to Kerry and the other New Zealanders at the Champs.

2026 Evening On The Maunga Tournaments (EOTM)

Four Wednesday evening events at MGAC spanning November and December are now open for entrants on ArcheryOSA.

Join us for another summer of twilight archery on Ōwairaka.

The 2026 series will include four standalone tournaments, each featuring a single WA720 round. Enter just one, or compete across all four weeks.

Upcoming

The next ADAA 600 round is: Sunday 15 November at Auckland Archery Club.

The shoot is free to join. Registration is at 1pm at the nominated club, with shooting commencing no later than 1.30pm. The shoot is 90 arrows at 30 metres. All archers begin on a 122cm target face. Once an archer has shot 600 points or greater on that target face, the next shoot they must drop their target face size to 80cm, then 60cm, then 40cm. Archers who proceed beyond this point may opt to shoot a 20cm spot.
