Electricity is here!
Our solar panels are fully functional, and we now have electronic sign in operating at our outdoor range! Ngā mihi nui ki a Kelly for getting this together.
To sign in, you can now use the EVA Check-in app, scan the QR code from your device, or use the iPad. On the iPad, you will need to input the phone number attached to your membership account. Please email checkinhelp@mgac.org.nz if you need anything updated.
This means we now need to put the solar panels out when we open the range – at least a couple of times a week, but preferably anytime the range is in use. More details will be shared with keyholders soon.
WA Oceania Challenge
The Oceania Challenge is running until the end of May, and is open to all members! This is an online tournament that allows archers to compete against others from across the Pacific, and we can shoot it at our own range. Please see all the info for how to get involved here!
The standard round has a maximum distance of 60m, but you are able to enter a shorter round if you have started archery recently, or have never shot 60m before. You can shoot it anytime before the end of May, as long as it is witnessed by an adult MGAC member. There is truly no excuse not to participant in this fantastic event!
