Good luck to all our NZ reps competing in the WA Oceania Target Champs this week!
This Thursday 16th-Sunday 19th April, a team of 38 archers from around NZ will be competing at the WA Oceania Champs, and 12 of those archers, plus one coach, are members of MGAC! We wish the whole team the best of luck for this event. All our archers have been training hard for this opportunity.
Reminder: Winter Hours
Just a reminder again that we close at 5pm Wednesday-Friday. This means your last arrows must be shot on or before 5pm.
Tertiary League Term 1 Results
Thanks to all those archers who shot the Tertiary League in Term 1. Your scores were due on Sunday 12th April, so if you haven’t already then please send a picture of your (signed!) scoresheet to Jan via headcoach-purple@mgac.org.nz, or leave it in the drawer in the clubhouse.
Term 2 may be shot anytime before 5th July!
Upcoming: Interclub Challenge April 27
The LAST ROUND of the Interclub Challenge this season will be on Monday 27th April (ANZAC Day Observed). We need you to show up and shoot this round!
MGAC has three teams entered in the Challenge League, which means every month we need at least 9 scores, and these scores can be from our top-level competition archers AND our social archers.
This is a great way to shoot in a low-pressure league round, and give back to the club. Plus, you can get some sight marks, or maybe try out a new distance while you’re at it. See here for more details, and pop this date in your calendar now so we can make sure all three teams are full this month.
No Waiporoporo Programme this Sunday
Just a reminder to our Young Adult archers that your Waiporoporo Programme will not restart for Term 2 until Sunday 26th April, as your coach will be away at Oceania Champs this weekend!
