With most club programmes and activities completed for 2025, the newsletter will be quiet over the holiday period.
The Saturday afternoon club shoot at the outdoor range (1-3 pm) continues to run and this is a great time to get in some practice during the nice summer weather!
Shooting at the outdoor range at other times is reliant on keyholders to open the range. Please keep an eye on the Outdoor Range Availability group in WhatsApp for details.
Remember that archers under 18 years old must have a supervising adult present on the range at all times.
Raising issues
There’s always something that needs repair or replacement – whether it is loo paper or target foam blocks. When something breaks or needs attention, please report it!
- Send an email to secretary@mgac.org.nz, OR
- Pop a message in the Discussion group in WhatsApp, OR
- Use the QR codes at each range to fill out an Incident Report.
We’ll be sure the issue gets to the right person, whether that’s the masterful Maintenance Team or the caring Committee or another valuable volunteer.
We can’t fix what isn’t reported – please don’t assume that “someone else will do it”.
