All the best to the NZ Trans-Tasman Team 2025
We’re cheering on the New Zealand youth team as they head into the Trans Tasman Challenge in Christchurch, running Thursday 25 to Tuesday 30 September. You can follow schedules and results on the event hub and Ianseo throughout the week.
Daylight Saving – Lighter Evenings Ahead
On Sunday 28 September, New Zealand moves to daylight saving time and the clocks will go forward one hour. The good news is lighter evenings for shooting! Please note that our range opening hours will adjust with the time change.
Club Hours (Summer)
Wed, Thurs, Fri: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Sat, Sun: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Mon, Tues: closed (except public holidays)
MGAC Achievement Round
The Achievement Round runs once a month during the 1:00 pm Club Shoot on the last Saturday and is free for all MGAC members. It’s designed to help archers build skill, step up to longer distances, and earn ribbons as achievement scores are met.
Format: 72 arrows (12 ends of 6)
Distances: 40m, 50m, 60m, 70m, 90m
Achievement Scores: Barebow/Longbow 400 | Recurve 500 | Compound 600
