Fundraiser for World Archery Youth Champs
MGAC member Phoebe Newcombe has been selected to represent NZ at the World Archery Youth Champs in Canada this August. To help raise funds for the trip, her family is organising a fun Quiz Night!
Sunday 15 June, 6pm – 9pm, in Mt Eden
As well as the quiz, there’s a silent auction with some fantastic items up for grabs – a luxury weekend in the Coromandel, original paintings by Phoebe, Dick Frizzell art, archery lessons and more.
It’s sure to be a fun night, so secure your tickets today! More details here.
Have you registered for the MGAC Indoor Champs?
Open to all full and associate members of MGAC, the Indoor Champs will be a great event for archers of all abilities – whether you’re prepping for indoor nationals, wanting to shoot your first tournament, or anything in between.
25 to 27 July, MGAC Indoor Range
It’ll be a 300 round (10 x 3 arrow ends) on either a 40cm face or triple spot, with a choice of five flight times. You must register so get in quick using this Google Form (which also has more information).
Get involved!
We’re looking for members to join our volunteer team and help with the smooth running of our club. There are lots of opportunities to get involved, depending on which tasks take your fancy. When lots of us do a little, no one needs to do a lot!
Here’s the sorts of jobs we need help with:
* Social media guru * Helpful hand for indoor or outdoor range * Helpers to organise events and tournaments * Newsletter editor * Secretary
If you’d like to give back, we’d love to hear from you. Talk to a committee member or email info@mgac.org.nz.
