Club Youth Christmas Shoot
This Sunday 11th December is the Mountain Green Youth & MAGS Christmas Shoot. The two lines will combine for an end-of-year function where shooting starts at 9.30am.
There will be prizes for Best Dressed Bow, Best Dressed Archer, and the winning team (coaches decide the teams).
Please bring a small plate to share at the end of the shooting.

ADAA Youth Christmas Shoot
The ADAA end-of-year function is being held at Mountain Green on Saturday December 17th. You organise your team and enter on the attached form. Three archers per team, any bow type, $30 per team. There are going to be lots of fun targets to try at this one!
Note: this is the last youth shoot for the year. There are no archery coaching lines on Sunday 18th Dec.
Interclub Challenge – 18 Dec & 14 Jan
*Anyone* is welcome to take part. You do not need to be part of a pre-named team. The round is a Canadian 900, details here.
You can shoot this at any time *on these dates* when the range is avaialble, just make sure the round is witnessed and send me a copy of the scoresheet (or leave the scoresheet for me to collect).
Achievement Round – Sat 31 Dec
Open to all club members. Run by Richard Sheib. It is an incentive for Novice and Intermediate archers to grow in skill, practice shooting at further distances, and meet other members of the club. If you are comfortable shooting at 30m and want to push out to 40m+ come along and give it a go and earn you MGAC Ribbons!!
CollegeSport 2023
For those who are at secondary school and are keen to enter the Term 1 CollegeSport competition, practises for all Mountain Green archers who are interested will start running from Wednesday 18th January at 4pm and go for 4 weeks. Entries for this event close on Feb 8th, and competition will start on Wed 15th Feb. If you want to know more, ask your coaching team on the weekend.
Good Luck to all those traveling to Hamilton for the ANZ Outdoor Nationals. I am looking forward to hearing about all your fantastic achievements.
