Final Evening on the Maunga and BBQ next week
It’s our last Evening on the Maunga event on Wednesday 18 December and we’re going out with a bang! Although the shooting line is full (with a waiting list) for the Matchplay Mashup, we’d like to welcome all members to come and join in the BBQ which will be running during the event (bring your gold coins for koha!).
Remember the range will not be available for casual shooting from 3pm until close on Wednesday.

Fun Youth Shoot
Our youth archers had a fantastic time at the fun Christmas shoot last Sunday. With novelty targets including a magic hovering ball, baubles, socks, balloons, and a 3D Rudolph, it was a fantastic way to end the school season. Santa even crash landed near the range triggering an immediate stop shooting call!

University League finishes for the year
Our very own Jan Lees masterminded the first national Archery Tertiary League this year. The inaugural winner of the league was the University of Auckland. Congratulations to the MGAC archers who were part of the winning team (Kinsey Cropper, Izzy Matthews and Nuala Edmundson) and all those who participated in the league.

Keep an eye on the Club Calendar to stay informed about our scheduled club events. You can find the live calendar on our website (homepage, bottom of the screen) and you can even subscribe to it so you’re always up to date.
* The Club Shoot will run every Saturday 1-3pm over the Christmas/New Year period (unless otherwise advised).
* There IS an Achievement Round on 28 December, run by Kelly Atkinson.
* The first BAP for 2025 will be 1 February.
